Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk to join our team.
Will pay hourly rate plus tips.
This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurate.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and manage the hotel’s Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Assist with reservations and provide support in managing guest relations effectively.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a host/host or food service role is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service or hospitality, ideally within a hotel setting.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and serving practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
