Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related construction skills. This role involves working on various projects including new construction, restoration, and renovation, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and technical expertise.
Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth, level, and durable finishes.
- Install rebar and perform concrete forming in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning forms or materials.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately.
- Perform masonry work including caulking, restoration, and flooring installation as needed.
- Use carpentry skills for framing, form building, and other structural tasks related to concrete work.
- Assist with welding and other metalwork related to reinforcement or structural components.
- Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects requiring concrete finishing expertise.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction equipment operation.
- Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry techniques.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques and flooring installation processes.

Pay: $22.23-$25.00 per hour
