We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Carpenter/Prep Sander to join our clients manufacturing team in London, ON. The ideal candidate will be building high-quality products with pride, precision, and a whole lot of teamwork. The Assemblers day will be filled with variety, rotating between roles to support our mission of executional excellence and delighting our customers.
Pay: $19.75 + $1 premium for the afternoon shift per hour
Shifts Available:
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm ($19.75/hour)
- Afternoon shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 1am ($19.75 + $1 shift premium/hour
What You’ll Do
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
- Read production schedules and follow work instructions
- Perform sanding, edging, glue-up, rim banding, and press operations
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Work collaboratively to keep production running smoothly
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience using hand/power tools, tape measures, and calipers
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks
- Manufacturing or woodworking experience is an asset
