852 Kitchen specializes in frozen Hong Kong-style dim sum, ready-to-eat dishes, pastries, and desserts. All of our products are locally made in our own production facility by our chefs to ensure consistent quality and authenticity. We currently operate four retail locations across Metro Vancouver, including Richmond, Joyce-Collingwood, Cambie, and Coquitlam, serving both local communities and the Asian market. Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Associates to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for packaging products efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general packaging duties in accordance with company procedures
- Accurately and efficiently package products to meet production targets
- Stand for extended periods throughout shifts
- Repeatedly lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Load and unload products in a -18°C walk in freezer environment
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety regulations and procedures
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- No prior experience required
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or food production environments is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, lift, and move products throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Dependable, proactive, and safety conscious
Working hours
- Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday, from 9:00am to 7:00pm
- 6 to 8 hours per shift, 20-40 hours per week
