About the Opportunity
Rose & Rose Law Firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Enforcement Litigation Clerk (Junior) to join our growing team. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for an individual with 1–2 years of litigation experience and a strong foundation in mortgage enforcement who is looking to continue building their career in a collaborative and supportive legal environment.
The successful candidate will primarily manage mortgage enforcement files while providing support on other litigation matters as required. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional client service while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, prepare, and revise legal documents, including motions, affidavits, pleadings, notices, correspondence, and other materials relating to mortgage enforcement proceedings.
- Assist in the management of mortgage enforcement files from commencement through resolution under lawyer supervision.
- Coordinate the filing and service of court documents while ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical client files.
- Schedule hearings, motions, examinations, mediations, and other litigation events with the courts, clients, opposing counsel, and third-party service providers.
- Communicate professionally with lender clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and external stakeholders regarding file status and procedural matters.
- Prepare client reporting correspondence and provide regular file updates.
- Assist with billing, preparation of Bills of Costs, file administration, and general litigation support.
- Monitor court deadlines, limitation periods, and file progression to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Provide administrative and litigation support to lawyers and senior clerks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Law Clerk Diploma from an accredited institution is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Litigation Clerk.
- Mortgage enforcement experience is required.
- Experience closing private mortgage transactions is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Ontario Civil Litigation procedures and court filing requirements.
- Proficiency with Teraview, Unity, PCLaw, ACL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
- Professional, client-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
