Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and experienced individuals to join our commercial glazing installation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in glazing, curtain wall, window wall, storefront, aluminum systems, or related exterior building envelope work. However we are willing to train and could also use an enthusiastic helper or two who is willing to learn.
This position involves working on commercial construction projects and requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work safely at heights, and a willingness to together as a team. Candidates with transferable construction experience who are interested in developing their skills in commercial glazing are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, window wall, storefront, aluminum doors, and related components
- Handle and install glass and aluminum materials safely
- Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and installation details
- Use hand tools, power tools, and glazing equipment safely and effectively
- Perform layout, measuring, drilling, fastening, and installation work
- Apply sealants and complete caulking and weatherproofing work
- Assist with the installation of exterior cladding and building envelope systems as required
- Work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial work platforms where required
- Follow company and site-specific health and safety requirements
- Identify installation issues and communicate them to supervisors or project management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with crew members to meet project schedules and quality requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall, window wall, storefront, cladding, or exterior building envelope work is preferred
- Construction experience is considered an asset
- Ability to read construction drawings and shop drawings
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Comfortable working at heights
- Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and safely handle construction materials
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Fall protection, aerial lift, and other construction safety certifications are considered assets

Pay: $23.00-$45.00 per hour
