Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pizza Manager to lead our restaurant team in the afternoon to evening. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a positive dining environment. Previous restaurant management, supervising experience, and familiarity with food industry best practices are essential to succeed in this position. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the restaurant’s success while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
Duties
. Shift is 3:00pm - 9:00pm daily.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
- Supervise and motivate staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Handle cash transactions and POS systems such as Micros POS efficiently
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests when necessary to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in developing staff skills through coaching and leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
- Strong background in food industry operations including food safety, handling, and hospitality standards
- Supervising experience with team management skills; capable of interviewing and training staff
- Familiarity with POS systems or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environments; hotel or barista experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
