Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Helper/Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to support kitchen operations
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and service stations
- Support meal preparation activities as needed, including chopping, plating, and portioning
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of South Indian food is an asset
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food industry operations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or carrying items as needed
