Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Maitre’d is responsible for assisting servers to serve food in accordance with proper food service procedures, with an emphasis on presentation; cleaning and setting up the dining room between meals, washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen as required.
Experience:
Restaurant or Hotel Server experience with POS system.
Education:
- Must have a minimum Canadian grade 10 education or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write and comfortably communicate in English.
- Must understand oral and written instructions.
- Must have the serving it right certificate
- Must be able to be trained in the safe handling of food and in proper food service procedures.
- Food Safe Level 1 certificate
- Serving it Right certificate
Personal Characteristics:
- A passion for providing excellent dining service
- Empathy for and understanding of the needs of seniors, their families and their professional service providers.
- Good health.
- No allergies to cleaning chemicals.
- Able to perform physical work, i.e. lifting, bending etc.

- Willingness and ability to learn safe and courteous food service.

Shifts are available from Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 7:00pm.
