We are looking for a Salon Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting stylists with shampooing, styling, and coloring services, as well as providing general salon maintenance. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and be eager to learn new techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and make them feel welcome.
- Provide customer service to clients.
- Assist the stylist with shampooing, cutting, and styling hair.
- Clean and maintain salon equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Be familiar with salon products and services.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON M6S 1N6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- hair styling: 1 year (preferred)
