Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Prepare food items according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure food is cooked and served in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
Skills:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including order taking
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet customer expectations
- Experience with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, coworkers, and management
