Engineering Technician
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team at Water Blast in Edmonton, Alberta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop and modify sheet metal designs, including flat patterns and assemblies.

- Proven ability to stay organized, multitask, manage time effectively with attention to detail.
- Computer skills a must, quick learner with ability to learn in-house systems.
- Demonstrates an ability to analyze and solve problems.

- Team Player, willingness to help where needed.
Education:
- 2 year technical diploma (mechanical engineering technology) or relevant experience.
Experience:
- Proficient with SolidWorks (2+ years) or similar 3D CAD software.
- Proven experience with sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in creating assemblies, weldments, and detailed drawings.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM vault would be beneficial but not required.
- B620 Experience an asset.
- Experience in Commercial Transportation required.
