Team Lead (Dinner Service) – Taqueria Vegana
Job Summary
We’re hiring a Team Lead to lead our dinner service from Wednesday to Sunday. This is a cooking position and a leadership role. You’ll be working on the line while guiding the team, making sure service runs smoothly, and upholding the standards that define us.

Responsibilities
- Lead dinner service and ensure smooth, efficient operations
- Work the line while guiding and supporting the team throughout service
- Maintain high standards of food quality, speed, and cleanliness
- Communicate with the prep team to ensure the line is stocked and ready
- Support and develop team members through leadership and example
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback and guidance
- Step in wherever needed to support the flow of service
- Ensure adherence to company standards, safety protocols, and cleanliness
- Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment
Experience & Skills
- Previous leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen (required)
- Strong cooking skills and confidence working the line
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive mindset
- Natural empathy and genuine care for others
- Sharp thinking, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and focused under pressure

Compensation
Up to $23/hour, based on experience and skills.
