Overview
We are a busy patient-centered physiotherapy and massage therapy clinic in Guelph with two locations. We are looking for a warm, organized and experienced receptionist to be the face of our front desk. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Greet clients and manage front desk flow for multiple practitioners
- Book and manage appointments using EMR system
- Process billing to insurers through Telus Health
- Handle phone, email and online booking inquires
- Process payments and complete end-of-day reconciliation
- Maintain patient records in compliance with PIPEDA/PHIPA
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1+ year of healthcare or clinic reception experience (preferred), other reception experience will also be considered
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Practice Perfect
- Billing experience with extended health providers
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and massage therapy clinics would be an asset
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficient computer skills, ability to problem solve technical issues
- Prior administrative experience in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Must be available for varied shifts as Clinic hours 7:15 am - 8:00 pm
