Heavy Equipment Operator / Labourer
Weiss Excavating & Contracting Ltd. is a growing excavation company based in the Okanagan, and we're looking for a motivated, reliable team member to join our crew.
We're not necessarily looking for someone with 20+ years of experience. We'd rather find someone with a solid construction background, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating excavators, skid steers, and other equipment as experience allows
- Assisting with sewer and water installations
- Site preparation, grading, trenching, and excavation work
- General labour duties around the job site
- Assisting with pipe installation, utility work, and landscaping projects
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
What We're Looking For
- Construction or excavation experience preferred
- Some experience operating equipment is an asset
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibility
