Overview
We serve Greek food In the heart of Toronto. We are looking for an apprentice who are interested in looking for a career in the restaurant business.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Proven time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in cashiering is a plus, with basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food preparation techniques and food handling standards.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the kitchen environment.

Pay: $17.60-$20.60 per hour
