Position Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting products and materials to customers, job sites, vendors, and company locations while providing excellent customer service and supporting overall store operations.
This role requires a dependable, safety-focused individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and transport merchandise safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move heavy or bulky materials
- Operate company vehicles and freight-handling equipment safely
- Verify deliveries and complete required paperwork accurately, including signatures and delivery documentation
- Secure loads properly and follow all transportation and safety requirements
- Report shortages, damaged goods, vehicle concerns, or customer issues to management
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain a clean, professional, and customer-focused approach during deliveries
- Support yard, warehouse, and store operations as required
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence required (air endorsement considered an asset if applicable)
- Clean and safe driving record
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
- Ability to accurately verify shipment contents and delivery documentation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 100 lbs
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely perform physical labour throughout the workday
Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
