Job Description
FIX AUTO LANGLEY are seeking an experienced and results-driven Shop Manager to lead our auto body collision repair facility. The Shop Manager will oversee daily operations, manage production workflow, support staff development, maintain quality standards, and ensure exceptional customer service while achieving business goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the collision repair shop.
- Oversee production schedules and workflow to ensure repairs are completed on time.
- Supervise and support technicians, painters, and administrative staff.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates, review vehicle damage, and communicate repair plans with customers and insurance partners.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, customers, and suppliers as required.
- Track productivity, efficiency, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and shop resources.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in an auto body collision repair environment.
- Strong understanding of collision repair processes and industry best practices.
- Experience managing teams, production schedules, and shop performance.
- Knowledge of estimating systems and insurance repair procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license.
