KMF Automotive Ltd. is looking for a reliable and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our busy, family-owned repair shop in Burnaby.
We have served the Burnaby community for more than 20 years and offer steady, year-round work in a professional and well-equipped shop. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, diagnoses vehicles properly, and wants a stable, long-term position.
Responsibilities
● Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
● Perform maintenance and general repairs
● Complete brake, steering and suspension repairs
● Perform engine and cooling-system repairs
● Diagnose warning lights, drivability concerns and electrical faults
● Complete inspections and recommend required repairs
● Accurately document findings and completed work
● Maintain a clean and organized work area
● Work independently while communicating effectively with the team
Qualifications
● Licensed Automotive Service Technician, Red Seal technician, or experienced apprentice
● Strong diagnostic and general repair skills
● Experience working on European vehicles is a major asset
● Able to perform repairs efficiently and accurately
● Honest, dependable and punctual
● Valid BC driver’s licence
● Own tools preferred
● Strong attention to detail
● Able to work independently in a busy shop
