We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to take ownership of our fixed asset and capital accounting processes in a fast-paced, multi-regional environment.
This role combines technical accounting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong exposure to IFRS, audit, and process improvement.
What you'll do:
- Manage the fixed asset lifecycle (creation, capitalization, transfers, disposals)
- Evaluate CapEx spend and apply judgment on capitalization vs. expense decisions
- Perform reconciliations (subledger to GL) and investigate variances
- Partner with AP and operational teams to ensure accurate asset accounting
- Prepare depreciation, journal entries, and monthly reporting
- Support audit processes and maintain strong internal controls
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and data accuracy
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA (or near completion)
- 3–5 years of experience in fixed assets within a large, complex organization and/or working with high-volume asset populations.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and capitalization principles
- Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience (Workday an asset)
Salary: $69,300 - 80,000 annually (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
