We are currently seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our Vancouver Team. In this role, you’ll support various on-site activities under the direction of the Site Superintendent and other senior team members. As a Skilled Labourer, you’ll play a vital part in the successful execution of our projects bringing a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a tidy and orderly job site.
- Be familiar with construction documents, drawings, and local building codes.
- Arrive prepared for work with necessary tools.
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling other trades.
- Support the implementation of BLT’s Occupational Health and Safety Policies.
- Promote adherence to all Health and Safety requirements on the job site.
- Manage project documents and drawings.
- Collect daily work logs from subcontractors.
- Move, load, and unload materials.
- Coordinate with base building contractors, client representatives, and operations managers.
- Order materials and equipment for job sites.
- Monitor inventory of materials delivered to job sites.
- Set up and remove protection materials for finished work (e.g.,floor protection/ram board, drop sheets, plastic coverings).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or a similar skilled labourer role is an asset.
- Knowledge of construction documents and safety protocols.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy materials as needed.
