Full time and Part Time RPNs (Registered Practical Nurses)
**Incentive Program** Crown Ridge Health Care Services is participating in the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN).
RN|RPN FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR NEW RECRUITS!!!
$25,000 incentive available to eligible nurses in exchange for a two-year commitment to full-time work.
To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must have started employment with Crown Ridge Health Care Services on or after October 1, 2025.
Nurses must NOT have been employed in Ontario for 6 months before hire.

What will you do.
- Administers medications and treatments in compliance with the policies of the dispensing pharmacy, the Home, and the Standards of the College of Nurses. Documents and reports all errors and omissions.
- Liaises with the physician, or other health care professionals, and agencies as required.
- A commitment to the mission, vision, values, philosophy, objectives, and policies of the home
- Utilizes the Nursing process by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating Nursing Care
- Develops, modifies and implements the Resident Care Plan when required
- Observes, assesses, reports, records, evaluates, and communicates pertinent information on residents' needs/changes to members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Participates in admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.
- Performs nursing procedures and rehabilitative techniques to increase resident’s independence and maintain a level of functioning in restorative care programs.
- Participates in the orientation process of fellow RPN’s and PSW’s/HCA’s.
- Performs supervisory duties in promoting the health and safety of workers and complies with the duties of a worker in compliance with the Health and Safety Act.
- Documents and investigates resident/employee incidents and complaints and reports incidents to the Registered Nurse.
What will you need.
- Completion of an approved Practical Nursing Program
- Maintains Annual RPN Certification Requirements as per the policy in the home
- Active and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Vulnerable sector check that is less than 6 months old at the time of hire
- TB test steps 1 and 2 proof and 1 step in last 6 months until two step obtained in last year.
- Experience working with geriatrics, long-term care, or home services is an asset
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Become a member of the multidisciplinary team
- Availability every other weekend off- FT and PT
- Good communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills in MS Word, Excel, e-mail, internet use, and computerized documentation.
- Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
