Armstrong Acting Studios
Position: Director of Partnerships and Studio Development
The Director of Partnerships and Studio Development is responsible for leading Armstrong Acting Studios' marketing initiatives, industry partnerships, client development, workshop programming, and community engagement. This role acts as a key liaison between the studio, industry professionals, agents, casting directors, and actors while supporting the continued growth and visibility of Canada's leading on-camera acting studio. The selected candidate must have familiarity with the film and television industry, either as an actor or in casting, production, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications
- Create and execute social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Develop promotional content including graphics, videos, testimonials, e-blasts, and written copy.
- Maintain studio branding across all digital and physical marketing materials.
- Manage Google Business profile, reviews, and monthly analytics reporting.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns for classes, workshops, special events, and studio initiatives.
Industry Relations & Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with agents, casting directors, festivals, industry organizations, and other partners.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships that increase studio visibility and opportunities for clients.
- Coordinate industry events, guest speakers, and collaborative initiatives.
- Represent Armstrong Acting Studios at industry functions and networking events when required.
Client Development & Actor Support
- Conduct consultations with actors regarding training paths, submission materials, and industry readiness.
- Provide guidance regarding headshots, resumes, demo reels, and agent submissions.
- Coordinate studio-recommended submissions to agents.
- Support clients through the representation process and facilitate introductions when appropriate.
Workshop & Programming Development
- Develop and execute workshop concepts throughout the year.
- Coordinate guest instructors, industry professionals, schedules, promotional materials, and logistics.
- Oversee workshop operations and support event execution.
- Create marketing materials and promotional campaigns for all programming.
Studio Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update website content, course listings, faculty bios, and studio resources.
- Coordinate internship recruitment, onboarding, and supervision.
- Manage community communications, newsletters, and faculty updates.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in film, television, acting, arts, or entertainment industries.
- Canva and basic graphic design experience.
- Email marketing platforms.
- Website management (Wix preferred).
Role Details
- 20-30 hours per week
- $20,000–$40,000/year salary
- Monday–Friday, day shift
- Casual dress
- English language proficiency required
- Ability to commute to Toronto
