Door Connections is looking for a motivated and dependable Apprentice to join our team!

No previous overhead door experience is required—we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
● Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial overhead doors, dock levelers, dock seals, and related loading dock equipment.
● Learn installation techniques while working alongside experienced technicians.
● Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts.
● Load and unload materials and keep job sites clean and organized.
● Follow all company and job-site safety procedures.
● Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and contractors.
● Develop the skills needed to work independently as experience grows.
Qualifications
● Eager to learn and build a career in the skilled trades.
● Mechanically inclined with an interest in construction or industrial work.
● Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
● Able to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials.
● Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
● Valid G driver’s licence.
● Previous construction, mechanical, welding, electrical, or general labour experience is an asset but not required.
