Position Overview:
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in creating a positive experience for our guests from check-in to check-out. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with various guest needs while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
- Manage the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
- Answer phone calls promptly using professional phone etiquette to assist guests with inquiries and reservations.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures
- Work efficiently with a team and contribute to creating a positive workspace.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and managing multiple calls effectively.
