Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 310S Automotive Technician to join our team. This role involves performing comprehensive automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with automotive systems, and the ability to work with various tools and schematics. Prior dealership experience is a plus, along with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately identify problems and solutions
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for parts replacement or vehicle servicing
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist in vehicle inspections and ensure quality control before returning vehicles to customers
- Support the team with general maintenance tasks around the shop as required
Skills
- Proven dealership or mechanic experience with automotive repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Pay: $23.45-$46.39 per hour
