Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale)
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and prioritization
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, bar, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including setup and breakdown of service stations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Experience in serving or bartending roles within the food industry is desirable but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
