The Role
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Landscape Maintenance Labourer to join our team. This role offers a primary focus on strata maintenance with occasional landscape construction projects. You will work directly with our lead hands to ensure properties are kept in top condition and new projects are built to our standards.
This is an entry-level to mid-level position with significant room to grow as our company continues to expand.
This position is part-time for a guaranteed 2 days a week (Thursdays and Fridays) with occasional opportunities for more work.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance: Professional lawn mowing, line trimming, leaf blowing, and detailed weeding of garden beds.
- Construction: Assisting with site prep, moving materials (soil, gravel, mulch), sod installation, and planting trees/shrubs.
- Cleanups: Seasonal leaf removal, debris hauling, and pruning.
- Equipment: Safe operation of mowers, blowers, and various hand tools.
Requirements
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 70+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability: Consistent punctuality is a must. Thursdays and Fridays are mandatory.
- Professionalism: Respectful communication when working around residents in strata communities.
- Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and a reliable way to get to the shop or job sites.
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping or general labor is preferred, but we will train the right person with a strong work ethic.
