Warehouse Administrator
The Warehouse Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse Worker must unload shipments received and package shipments for delivery to customers with the capability of repetitive moderate lifting.
This position will also be responsible for a wide variety of clerical office duties in support of company administration. This includes answering and referring inbound telephone calls, greeting/screening visitors, and other duties as required.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and unloading incoming inventory.
- Sorting, labelling and storing items in designated locations.
- Picking and packing orders based on customer orders.
- Preparing orders for shipping including mixing of products, labelling and shipping.
- Submitting and processing purchase orders and other operational documents to the accounting department for processing.
- Coordinating with external vendors and suppliers for timely delivery and service as required.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking stocking levels and location.
- Performing inventory counts and physical inventory checks on an ongoing basis.
- Recommending replenishment of inventory when needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Ensuring safety standards are followed, including proper storage practices and equipment operation.
- Handling data entry and data processing tasks related to warehouse operations.
- Communicating effectively with team members and other departments.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Handle customer inquiries in a professional manner and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in administrative and/or coordinator roles, ideally within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Basic computer skills to operate inventory management and shipping software.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Other duties as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
