Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our team. This role involves crafting cabinetry, reading blueprints and schematics, and installing cabinets with precision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and various construction trades, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial settings, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and related woodwork.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinets using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking equipment.
- Install cabinets securely in various environments, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Perform related tasks such as concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and caulking as needed for project completion.
- Assist with restoration projects that require carpentry skills or handyman experience.
- Measure spaces accurately for custom cabinetry installation and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
- 3years experience in carpentry, woodworking, or construction-related fields; with cabinetry preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings with confidence.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment.
- Knowledge of construction estimating and project planning is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work on ladders or scaffolding as required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for job site travel.
- Commitment to safety standards and quality craftsmanship in all tasks performed.
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
