Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent guest services, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and cashiering, with strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS, restaurant operations, and food safety standards is highly desirable. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems, including Touch Bistro.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and workstations.
- Assist with food preparation when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and holidays if needed. Pay: $18.51-$22.00 per hour
