We are currently looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our Paterson Research Farm organization in Winnipeg as our Research Data Coordinator. You will work as part of the team in finalizing this year’s field trials and delivering results for our clients. Reporting to the Manager of Agronomy, you will be responsible for organizing year-end data and writing data-focused reports.
Responsibilities
- Work with the site manager to coordinate data entry into MS Excel and statistical software
- Cooperate with site manager to build data reports for clients
- Assist with harvest operations
- Help with the gathering of fall trial data in the field
- Work with the team to maintain a culture of safety for all
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work in an environment with changing priorities
- Knowledge in research data management
- Experience with Excel and statistical software (ideally ARM experience)
- Previous experience with research farm operations is preferable
- Experience in technical writing
This job is located in the northwest corner of the perimeter highway outside of public transit routes, candidates will need to provide their own transportation to the work site. This position is 100% on-site with no option for remote work.
