Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians, millwrights, electricians, and contractors.
Ensure safe operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and facility assets.
Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and robotic systems.
Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.
Ensure compliance with all company EHS policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Support and maintain the facility's Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-ups.
Coordinate maintenance activities to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
Manage maintenance work orders, spare parts inventory, and maintenance records through CMMS systems.
Train, mentor, and develop maintenance team members while promoting a strong safety culture.
Participate in capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to achieve operational objectives.
Monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, PM completion rates, MTBF, and maintenance costs.
Post-secondary degree, diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least three (3) years of experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role, preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of tooling, production equipment, and assembly/manufacturing processes.
Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
Solid technical expertise in equipment troubleshooting, reading schematics and technical manuals, and supporting automated systems, including robotics and PLC-controlled equipment.
