Job Summary
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and setting up production equipment in accordance with established schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all safety regulations, including internal policies and applicable legislation.
Shift: Straight night shift - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sanitation and cleaning of production equipment and work areas
- Set up and tear down production equipment to support operational needs
- Follow established sanitation schedules to ensure production readiness
- Work under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor, Sanitation Lead Hand, or (during off-shifts) the Production Supervisor
- Ensure production areas are properly cleaned and prepared for future use
- Collaborating with Production and Quality departments to maintain standards
- Identify and report any safety or operational concerns immediately
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong commitment to safety with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of WHMIS and safe handling of cleaning chemicals is required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of sanitation processes and equipment is considered an asset
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good manual dexterity
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing

Compensation
At Chapman’s, compensation is guided by a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes and rewards individual contributions.
Wages
$24.75 per hour
