Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance team in supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance expertise, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy machinery efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment upkeep, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance of all heavy equipment.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair heavy machinery and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Perform scheduled/preventative maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns
- Conduct welding, mechanic skills and electrical work as required
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams by minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment efficiency
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring and industrial electricial experience
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting manuals
- Customer service orientation with a focus on safety and operational excellence

Pay: $35.00-$48.00 per hour
