Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Professional Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with their moving needs, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of belongings, and providing excellent customer service throughout the process. The ideal candidate will be committed to safety, possess strong communication skills, and have experience working in fast-paced environments such as warehouses or commercial driving.
Duties
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or office items onto moving trucks
- Assist clients in packing, organizing, and securing items for transport
- Use proper lifting techniques to handle heavy or bulky items to prevent injury
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate moving activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and trucks before and after use
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during each move to prevent accidents or damage
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in moving services or warehouse operations is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Commercial driving is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive moving experience for clients
- Physical stamina and strength to handle demanding tasks in various environments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
