Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Auto Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive automotive repair experience, including dealership background, and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues. The Certified Auto Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting,maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting vehicles efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical Conduct.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Must do vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and preventive care to extend vehicle lifespan.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and services performed for each vehicle.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Experience with vehicle assembly and troubleshooting using detailed schematics is preferred.
- Certification as a licensed auto mechanic is required to qualify for this position.
- Prior experience working with automotive repair software or diagnostic tools is a plus.
Pay: $22.01-$40.00 per hour
