Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Live-in Superintendent to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our buildings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our property. This role offers an opportunity to live on-site while managing a team and maintaining the building’s infrastructure.
Duties
- Work along other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and upkeep
- Oversee subcontractors including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing technicians
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service to co-owners
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in similar role
- Intermediate level knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities
- Must be comfortable living on-site as part of the role’s responsibilities
This position is integral to maintaining the operational integrity of our buildings while providing leadership that fosters safety, efficiency, and a collaborative work environment.
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
