We are a growing transportation company operating a fleet of approximately 40 trucks. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented AR/AP/Invoice Administrator to join our team in East Gwillimbury.
This is a general accounting support role that involves assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoicing. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment, is eager to learn, and enjoys being part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments as needed.
- Process vendor invoices and accounts payable.
- Enter and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Reconcile invoices and supporting documentation.
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries professionally.
- Assist with general office and administrative duties as required.
- Work closely with the operations and management team to ensure accurate billing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, or general office accounting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using computers and standard office software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Experience in the transportation industry is considered an asset but is not required.
