About the Role
As a Senior Consulting Manager – Wealth Management SME , you will make an impact by leading complex consulting engagements and transformation programs within the wealth management domain.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, helping organizations design future-state operating models, define strategic roadmaps, and execute business transformation initiatives. This role requires deep expertise across wealth management business processes, asset classes, and trading operations, combined with strong consulting, stakeholder management, and program delivery capabilities. In This Role, You Will Business & Transformation Leadership
Lead strategic consulting engagements for wealth management clients.
Define and implement Target Operating Models (TOMs) aligned to business objectives and transformation goals.
Develop business and technology roadmaps that support operational modernization and growth initiatives.
Assess current-state operations and recommend future-state transformation strategies. Wealth Management Domain Advisory
Provide subject matter expertise across wealth management products, asset classes, and trading workflows.
Advise clients on process optimization, operating model improvements, and business architecture initiatives.
Support strategic decision-making through industry insights and best practices.
Guide organizations through large-scale business and platform transformation programs. Stakeholder & Program Management
Engage with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to drive alignment and successful delivery.
Facilitate workshops, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Influence decision-making and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
Manage program risks, dependencies, and transformation outcomes. Business Architecture & Solution Delivery
Lead business architecture initiatives and support enterprise transformation programs.
Drive backlog prioritization and business requirements alignment.
Collaborate with product, operations, and technology teams to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Support governance, planning, and delivery execution activities throughout the project lifecycle. Work Model

The working arrangements for this role may be adjusted based on business and client requirements. What You Must Have to Be Considered
12–15+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or Financial Services consulting.
Deep expertise across multiple asset classes and trading workflows.
Strong experience designing and implementing Target Operating Models.
Proven track record developing strategic roadmaps and leading transformation programs.
Extensive experience in business architecture, operating model design, and organizational transformation.
Strong stakeholder management experience, including executive and C-level engagement.
Consulting experience supporting major banks, preferably Canadian financial institutions.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and complex business initiatives.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. These Will Help You Succeed
Experience with AS400 platforms and legacy modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with leading wealth management platforms and technology ecosystems.
Experience supporting digital transformation and platform migration programs.
Knowledge of Canadian wealth management regulations and operating models.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Industry certifications related to wealth management, business architecture, or project management.

We regularly assess market data to ensure our compensation remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.
Base salary range: CAD $126,500 – CAD $148,500 annually
Placement within the range will depend on experience, skills, qualifications, and market considerations.
Eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual performance incentive program, subject to applicable plan terms. Benefits
