Elite Integrity Services is a rapidly growing company specializing in the construction of new, and repair/maintenance of storage tanks used in oil and gas, petrochemical and other industries. Our fabrication shop, located on the west side of Highway 2 near Ponoka, Alberta, prepares all material, parts and components that are then shipped into the field for final construction or installation.
Job Overview
We are seeking Foreman for our weekend shift in Ponoka. If you are a motivated, hard working individual with an eye for quality, efficiency and safety, you may be the one we are looking for.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small crew of welders and plasma table operator
- Read and interpret blueprints, communicate with Engineering if required
- Train and mentor journeyman and apprentice welders.
- Perform quality checks
- Conduct tool box meetings
- follow directions provided by the week day shift foreman
Qualifications
- 5 year Journeyman welder with supervisor experience
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics
- Experience in welding and fabrication techniques
- Ability to use measuring tools accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for rigging components efficiently
- experience in SMAW and FCAW
- CWB tickets are an asset but not required.
- experience with running overhead cranes is an asset but not required.

- Shift is Friday -Sunday 12 hours per day and paid for 40 hours if all 36 hours worked.
- Shift premium of $2.00/hr
