Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and have a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive patient experience. Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
- Address patient questions regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $58.00-$60.00 per hour
