Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and readily available for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a focus on cleanliness, and experience in food service or hospitality settings.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access during food preparation and service
- Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly to ensure smooth operations
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination
- Assist with light food preparation tasks if required, including basic food handling and prep work
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as pots and pans when necessary
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
