Overview
We are looking for a passionate Italian Cuisine LINE COOK / SOUS CHEF with experience working in Italy to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in restaurant management and food preparation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary expertise while managing kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering outstanding dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Efficient food preparation and service
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain food safety compliance
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies
- Develop menu items and specials that align with restaurant concept and customer preferences
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to coordinate serving times and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the food industry
