Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of industrial equipment, machinery, and structural components. Your expertise will ensure that products meet quality standards, are protected from corrosion, and maintain their integrity over time. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and abrasive blasting.
- Mix and apply industrial coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
- Operate specialized spray systems including airless, conventional, and Plural System—to apply primers, epoxies, urethanes.
- Read and follow work orders, coating specifications, safety data sheets, and technical instructions.
- Operate and maintain painting, blasting, and surface-preparation equipment.
- Clean, disassemble, inspect, and maintain paint pumps, ventilation hoods, hoses, and spray guns to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow all health, safety, environmental, and quality-control procedures.
- Coordinate with the administrative, quality-control, and production teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial painting or coating experience is preferred.
- Deep understanding of chemical mix ratios, spray tip sizes, and surface assessment.
- A thorough understanding of industrial coating specifications and end-user requirements is considered a strong asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Forklift, overhead-crane, abrasive-blasting, and relevant certifications are preferred.
- Industry safety certifications, including Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, WHMIS, and CSTS, are preferred.
- Knowledge of Denso product line is preferred.
