About Us
Global Trade & Distribution Inc. is a growing e-commerce and distribution company in Vaughan. Since 2011, we’ve supplied home renovation and construction products to customers across Canada and the United States.
We sell through Amazon, eBay, our website, and our local store. Our products include floor heating systems, waterproofing products, building materials, and other renovation-related items.
As our online business grows, we’re looking for someone who can help us build and improve product listings with clearer visuals, better product information, and content that helps customers confidently choose quality materials for their home improvement projects.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Listing Graphic Designer to create and improve product images for Amazon, eBay, our website, and other online channels.
This role is a mix of design, product understanding, and content organization. You’ll be working with product photos, supplier materials, packaging, manuals, product samples, existing listings, and feedback from our team to create visuals that help customers understand what the product is, how it works, and why they should buy it.
A big part of the job is making technical or detailed products easier to understand. We don’t expect you to know our industry from day one. We’ll provide guidance, examples, and product information as you learn. But we are looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable figuring things out, asking good questions, and turning information into clear visuals.
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys making product content better — not just making images look nice, but making them useful, accurate, and persuasive.
What You’ll Do
You’ll create and improve product listing visuals for Amazon, eBay, our website, and other e-commerce channels.
Your work will include:
- Editing, retouching, cleaning up, combining, and improving product images while keeping them realistic and accurate.
- Designing infographics and supporting visuals that explain product features, uses, dimensions, benefits, installation details, comparisons, and other important information.
- Reviewing and organizing product information from supplier materials, packaging, manuals, product samples, existing listings, and internal notes.
- Turning technical product details into clear customer-facing visuals and simple marketing content.
- Helping identify what matters most to the customer and presenting it in a way that is easy to understand.
- Using Photoshop, other design tools, and AI-assisted tools to support research, content development, image editing, and production.
- Working with management and team members to review, revise, improve, and finalize product visuals.
- Managing multiple listing projects while keeping the work accurate, organized, and consistent.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of graphic design experience, ideally with product visuals, e-commerce listings, marketplace content, catalogs, packaging, or marketing materials.
Strong Adobe Photoshop skills are important for this role. Canva alone is not enough. The work requires confidence with image editing, retouching, compositing, layout design, and clean product presentation.
The ideal candidate can create visuals that are clear, polished, useful, and customer-focused. Good marketing judgment is important — you need to understand what makes a product listing helpful, convincing, and easy to understand.
Because many of our products are technical, attention to detail matters. You’ll need to be comfortable learning new products, asking thoughtful questions, organizing information, and using feedback to improve your work.
This role also requires strong organization. You’ll often be managing several products, visuals, and revisions at the same time, so accuracy and consistency are important.
We work as a growing, hands-on team. Projects move quickly, feedback is direct and helpful, and we work together to improve product listings as new products and opportunities come up.
Experience with AI-assisted tools is helpful, especially for research, drafting, editing, and workflow support. We’re looking for someone who can use these tools thoughtfully while still applying good judgment.
This is an in-person role at our Vaughan location, so applicants must be able to commute and work on-site Monday to Friday.
Why This Job Is In-Person
This is an in-person role because a lot of the work is easier and faster when we can review products, samples, images, and revisions together.
Many of our products are technical, and our feedback cycles can be short. Being on-site makes it easier to ask questions, understand the product, make changes quickly, and keep projects moving.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating Amazon, eBay, or other marketplace listing images is a strong asset.
- Experience with marketplace image requirements and listing best practices is helpful.
- Experience designing infographics for technical or feature-heavy products is helpful.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce conversion and SEO is helpful.
- Video editing experience is a plus.
- Russian language skills are welcome, but not required.
What We Offer
We offer a full-time Monday-to-Friday schedule, hands-on experience with real e-commerce listings, and the opportunity to work on a wide range of home renovation and construction products.
You’ll be working directly on content that customers see and use when making buying decisions. Your work can have a real impact on how our products perform online.
We’re a growing company, so this role is best for someone who wants to be involved, learn, improve, and take ownership over time. Strong performance, quality work, and improvements to listing results can lead to performance-based bonuses and growth opportunities.
A Note About Fit
This role is more than basic graphic design production.
You don’t need to come in already knowing our products, and we won’t expect you to figure everything out alone. We will help you learn, provide examples, and give feedback.
But you should enjoy learning how products work. You should be willing to look through product information, ask questions, organize details, and think about how to explain things clearly to customers.
The right person for this role is someone who can combine design skill with curiosity, accuracy, and practical marketing sense.
How to Apply
Please send your resume and portfolio.
Your portfolio should ideally include examples of product images, e-commerce graphics, infographics, retouching, compositing, packaging, catalog work, or anything that shows your ability to communicate product information clearly through visuals.
Bonuses
As you grow in the role and take ownership of the listing content process, there is a path toward performance-based bonuses and compensation growth. We consider quality of work, consistency, project output, ownership, and meaningful improvements to listing performance.
