Junior Architectural Administrator
Morrison Homes is looking for a Junior Architectural Technician (Administration) to join our Design & Drafting Team. As an award-winning builder, we've earned our reputation as the Homebuyer's Best Friend™ by delivering exceptional homes and an outstanding customer experience.
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who is eager to support the design process and help bring our home designs to life. In this role, you'll work closely with the Design & Drafting team to ensure architectural plans are accurately translated into constructible, cost-effective solutions while providing administrative support throughout the design and drafting process.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Design & Drafting, you'll play an important role in keeping projects organized, supporting the team's day-to-day operations, and contributing to the successful delivery of quality home designs.
Job Responsibilities
· Generate technical information with minimal guidance and supervision
· Communicate with trade partners, developer partners, internal departments, and the City of Calgary.
· Work as part of a team to produce working drawings on a variety of projects
· Design knowledge and experience an asset.
Job Qualifications
· Experience in the home building industry an asset.
· Experience in AutoCAD an asset.
· Ability to conceptualize structural and architectural details in three dimensions
· Ability to interact with other industry professionals, associated trades and industry authorities
· Commitment to customer service and technical excellence
· Self motivated and hardworking individual with excellent communication skills
· Well organized, detail oriented and the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
