Industrial Painter
Pro Coat Coatings has been providing high quality abrasive blasting and industrial coating in the Calgary area for over 35-years. We service the oil & gas, construction and infrastructure industries including projects such as vessels, tanks, skids, various pipes (internal and external), trusses, beams and other industrial equipment.
We are currently looking for an Industrial Painter with a minimum of 2 years experience to join our busy and professional team.
Job Description:
This job requires manual labor and is physically demanding. A Painter's work environment is often dusty and loud, and works in a high hazard environment with heavy machinery and equipment.
- To follow all safety procedures and operating protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues and any equipment/facilities.
- Complete any corresponding company paid for training, including as an example confined spaces, fall protection, first aid and WHMIS.
The ideal candidate will offer:
- · Work experience in the oil & gas industry and familiarity with the associated safety protocols
- · Willingness to assist with all tasks performed by your crew(s)
- Willingness to work beyond the 8 hour mark
- ·Ability to work indoor / outdoors in all weather conditions
- · Physical capability of lifting up to 50 lbs for short periods of time
- · A valid class 5 driver’s license optional
- · Current valid certification in, or the ability to obtain, WHMIS, Confined Space & Entry, Fall Arrest & First Aid CPR/AED Level C
