Unpaid Volunteer Opportunity – Social Media Coordinator/Manager (Ontario Residents Only)
We are currently seeking creative, motivated, and results-oriented Social Media Coordinators/Managers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and using social media to make a meaningful impact. The position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person activities in Woodbridge, Ontario.

Responsibilities
- Create content and manage social media accounts for a small custom manufacturing business that mainly creates sofas.
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging, high-quality content that reflects our brand and connects with our target audience.
- Brainstorm, design, and schedule engaging content that promotes our products and brand.
- Edit and compile program photos and videos into engaging social media posts and short-form videos.
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to improve content visibility.
- Monitor social media conversations, audience engagement, and industry trends through social listening.
- Review and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Stay current with emerging trends in social media, digital marketing, and online engagement.
- Collaborate with the communications team to plan and publish content that supports organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with social media management or digital marketing is an asset but not required.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current trends.
- Passion for content creation, branding, and storytelling.
- Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and basic analytics is preferred but not required.
- Experience with video editing software is considered an asset.
- Public relations or community engagement experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
