What You’ll Do:
- Expertly navigate our motorcoaches across the beautiful landscapes of Alberta & British Columbia on our scheduled service route from Calgary to Kamloops
- Operate our vehicles with professionalism & safety at the forefront, always adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues to ensure top performance of our equipment
- Operate our motorcoaches on assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely, comfortable and efficient travel for all passengers
- Offer outstanding customer service, assisting with baggage, load and unload passenger luggage, and answer questions with a friendly & professional demeanor
- Maintain accurate electronic logbooks and essential documentation with care & attention
- Consistently follow company procedures for operations, safety, training, and vehicle maintenance
What We’re Looking For:
- You hold a valid Class 1 or 2Q license with an air brake endorsement and a clean commercial driver's abstract
- A friendly customer service attitude.
- A minimum of 5-years commercial driving experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous & proven customer service experience
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle the demands of the job; sitting for extended periods of time while maintaining focus and loading/unloading passenger luggage
- Competent to on your own and manage your time efficiently
- Ability to receive a satisfactory/favorable background check and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Previous motorcoach driving experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to speak multiple languages (Bilingualism)
What We Offer:
- Rates of Pay:
- Earn $0.98 per mile on scheduled runs, with the average daily earnings estimated at around $400
- Earn $32 per hour for additional hours outside of your scheduled service hours & charter work
- Earn $30 per hour for training hours
- Unionized Position: Yes
- Shifts and work assignments are assigned using a seniority bidding process.
- Employment Type: Casual. Working hours & shift allotments are not guaranteed and are are based on operational needs & the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- You will also be eligible for:
- Stand-by/discounted travel on our motorcoaches
- Paid per diems & accommodations for overnight stays
- Paid training and orientation. Get paid while you learn our business!
- Paid uniforms and uniform dry-cleaning (including winter uniform)
